How can I assign different values from a code li

Added by Pierre Jamagne about 3 years ago

Hi,

How can I add different values from a code list to a target property, for instance commodity importance (Mining resources schema)?

When property Group from the source has value 1, my value to assign has to be "very large deposit" (from a codelist)
and when the property group from the source has a value 2, my value to assign has to be "medium deposit" (from a codelist)

Thank you

P Jamagne

Hi Pierre,

usually that's the perfect use case for the Classification mapping function.
There you can associate a target value for each of your source values.

If you import the code list into HALE you will have the possibility to use the values provided by the list in a dropdown menu in the editor for the target value (within the Classification function UI - double click on the target value to change it). To use the dropdown menu to choose the code list values you first have to associate the code list with the button on the right.

Best regards,
Simon
